Campsite La Taillée

This cheerful campsite with its colourful murals looks contemporary and fresh. The site is modestly sized and is located some 800 m east of the town centre of Aigrefeuille, roughly between Nantes et Bordeaux. The region listens to the name Charente-Maritime. The atmosphere is indeed maritime. You can drive to the sea in approx. 30-45 minutes, for instance to the tourist towns of Angoulins or Chatelaillon-Plage.

Well maintained pitchesThere are generously sized pitches with electricity. Everything is well maintained. The demarcation is made up of plants and bushes. There are quite a few trees, including a number of thick, old and gnarled specimens. This adds to the atmosphere!There is section with pitches for tents, caravans and camper vans, and a section with rental accommodation, such as a few mobile homes (4-6 persons), a bungalow and tents.The sanitary facilities are clean and have cheerful paintwork.Enjoy swimming!There is a lovely and large swimming pool, located in a corner of the campsite. There are in fact two adjacent swimming pools: a deeper pool for swimming and a more shallow section. There is also a separate toddler pool with water fountain. They are all located in full sun. There is a well-organised entertainment programme for young and old. Furthermore, you will find a playground, mini golf course and small trampoline on the grounds. Everything is well maintained.Shopping in the vicinityThere is a campsite shop with basic necessities. However, Aigrefeuille has a large supermarket. The restaurant is located in a wooden building in the shape of a chalet, with a nice bar, trendy murals and a covered terrace.
