Camping Village Roma Capitol is located between Ostia and Rome, in a quiet wooded area. This large campsite is laid out in a scenic area with tall pine trees. There are all kinds of sports facilities and beautiful swimming pools. With the excavations of Ostia Antica within walking distance and Rome close by this campsite is an excellent starting point to get acquainted with Roman culture.
Extensive campsiteOn the vast campsite, the pitches are arranged in rows along the straight paths. There is a separate area reserved for campers with dogs. The seven hundred touring pitches are numbered but not separated from each other. When busy you have little privacy on your spot.Luxury swimming poolsThere are three heated outdoor pools on the campsite: a competition pool, a shallow recreational pool and a paddling pool. The pools are stylishly laid out on a sun deck, from where you have a beautiful view of the surrounding pine trees. The complex gives a luxurious impression and has not been made especially attractive for children. There are no play equipment or slides.Open for a limited timeCamping Village Roma Capitol has beautiful sports facilities, but there is not much else to do. There is no entertainment or excursion programme. The campsite has a supermarket, a pizzeria and an attractive bar. Whether these facilities are open depends on the number of guests at the campsite. In low season most facilities are closed anyway. This also applies to the sanitary facilities, which are brand new and very luxurious. There are ten toilet blocks, in low season often only one is open.
