In the north of Portugal, on the inner edge of National Park Peneda-Gerês, lies camping Lima Escape. Here you stay beneath high fir trees with the Lima river at your feet and magnificent nature surrounding you. Ideal for seekers of peace and for hikers. On the campsite you will mostly find very satisfied campers, irrespective of whether they are staying in a tent, caravan, mobile home or in one of the exciting tree huts or luxury glamping tents.
Tree hut and glamping tentThe sloping grounds offer spacious pitches with a lot of shade or with some shade. Glamping tents, mobile homes, apartments and bungalows as well as a few exciting tree huts can be booked. There is no TV or WiFi in the glamping tents and tree huts. How peaceful is this?The Lima RiverYou can swim in the Lima river. The grounds also border a lake/recreational water.Jeep safariLima Escape offers a wide variety of activities and entertainment: from walking, cycling, jeep safari and horse riding to wine tasting at the local wineries (vinho verde). Also make sure to visit one of the natural lakes, water falls and make unexpected discoveries in National Park Peneda-Gerês. The campsite provides several cycling routes for the sporty cyclist. There is a (free) WiFi spot.Comprehensive menuRestaurant Adega do Arthur with a comprehensive menu of high-quality dishes is located on the camping grounds. It is a lovely, lively place with a large shaded terrace. In addition to great meat and fish dishes, they also serve vegetarian dishes and have a menu for children. The campsite also offers fresh bread and there is a small shop.Sanitary facilitiesThe sanitary facilities have recently been renovated and are kept in a tidy and clean condition.
