On Camping Le Sous Bois you'll be camping in the Charente-Maritime, a region known for oyster and mussel growing, fishing and winemaking. The campsite is located on the west side of Ile d'Oléron, a stone's throw from the Atlantic Ocean and just outside of the town of La Cotinière. There are many activities organised, and evening markets and fireworks shows.
Accommodation with its own jacuzziThe camping pitches look nice and vary in size. The camping pitches are (half) shady or sunny. The shade is created by the many acacias, oaks, mulberry trees, bignonias, pines and albizias. There is plenty of attention paid to the planting on the campsite. In additions there are many different accommodations, the most luxurious of which have their own jacuzzi.Sports at Camping Le Sous BoisFor children there is a playground with wooden play equipment, a slide, swings and climbing nets. You can also practices sports on the campsite. You can play volleyball, basketball, football, petanque and table tennis. In July and August there are also sports tournaments organised.On a humid summer eveningOpposite the reception you'll find a large tent where all kinds of activities are organised. There are plenty of activities in the heigh season. There are karaoke and dance evenings, performances and foam parties. There are also quieter activities such as make-up workshops, hikes and horseback rides for you to enjoy. There is also an outdoor jacuzzi and a little sauna. You can also have a massage for a fee.The bus is comingFrom the campsite you can take a bus to various beaches in July and August. The bus runs multiple times a day during that time.
