Camping Le Suroit is situated on the sun-drenched island of Ile d'Oléron. Entertainment for children is organised on the campsite and the beach is within walking distance. In the restaurant, the brasserie or during an Atlantic Ocean seafood evening you can feast on the local delicacies. The beautiful island of Ile de Ré is situated just off the French coast near Rochefort in the Charente-Maritime region. To reach Camping Le Suroit, you have to drive over a 3 km overpass to the island.
The camping is situated on the western side of the island and is sheltered by the dunes. The partly shaded camping pitches are separated by natural vegetation. Mobile homes can also be rented on the camping. The Keywest mobile homes are the most luxurious. In fact, one can hardly call them mobile homes, but rather holiday cottages. Nice to know: the accommodation can be rented for a weekend or even for one night.French language lessons and karaokeAt a distance of some 600 m you will find the beach and, with the large number of sun hours per year in this region, it is ideally situated for swimming, sunbathing or lovely walks. Furthermore, the camping has a heated swimming pool with an open roof in summer and closed roof when the weather is less favourable. The slides and paddling pool for the little ones with play equipment are always in the open air.
