Surrounded by the Rhône River, Camping Sandaya L’Île des Papes is situated on the tip of a small island. This camping site offers various types of accommodation besides the camping pitches. In summer you can use the heated swimming pools. The entertainment team does everything in its power to entertain guests. A visit to Avignon and the world-famous Palais des Papes is an absolute must.
Camping pitches and types of accommodation.The camping site rents out several types of accommodation: mobile homes, lodge tents, bungalows and chalets. The camping site also has 170 pitches. 140 of these pitches are separated by hedges which provide the necessary privacy. Almost all pitches are provided with electricity.Fun in the waterIf the weather permits, you can jump in the outdoor swimming pool of the camping site. A special children's pool with play equipment and a slide is also available. The paddling pool is suitable for tiny toddlers! The camping site is situated on the Rhône, but this river is not suitable for swimming. However, it is ideal for fishing.Activities for all agesThere is plenty to do for both young and old in the peak season (early July to end August)! Children will enjoy themselves in a kids' club, go dancing in the mini disco or join the craft activities. Adults are also not left out: walks, excursions, karaoke and film evenings. If you like to work out during your holiday, there are special fitness sessions to take part in.Grab a biteYou can enjoy a tasty breakfast, lunch and dinner in the camping site restaurant. Alternatively, head to the pizzeria for a bite to eat or get a snack from the snack bar.
