In the village of Fjand, situated between Nissum Fjord and the Husby Klitpantage, you will find the peaceful campsite Nissum Fjord Camping. Its location directly along Cycle route 1 make this campsite an ideal location for cycling enthusiasts. It is not far to the North Sea beaches from the campsite. As you drive up to the campsite, you will immediately notice the authentic main building (Bed & Breakfast) and the parade of flags along the main drive.
The campsite itself is made up of various fields with spacious pitches separated by rose bushes. These bushes not only offer plenty of privacy but also provide shelter from the westerly winds and produce the necessary shade. The main building houses a lovely Bed & Breakfast, and there are also eighteen holiday homes situated on the grounds, on a separate field. The homes vary from simply furnished to relatively luxurious.The campsite draws Dutch tourists but is a popular location for the Danes as well. The campsite shop supplies only the most basic items, you can do your grocery shopping at Thorsminde or Sønder Nissum. The two service buildings house not only the sanitary facilities but also a fully-equipped kitchen fitted with range tops, an oven, and a microwave oven.Sun, sea and sandIn the summer, people come here mostly for a holiday in the sun, close to the beach. Nissum Fjord Camping is, therefore, a fine choice during a warm summer. The sandy beaches of the Danish west coast are broad and endlessly long, and the sea tends to reach swimming temperatures quite quickly. If the water is too cold, the campsite also has a swimming pool (with a paddling pool).
