Flower Camping L’Arize is located at the foot of the Pyrenees, in the southern French department of Ariège. At this small campsite you camp in a mountainous and wooded area, on sheltered pitches. You'll mainly meet young families. The small river L'Arize flows through the campsite and is ideal for small children. In the rugged nature you can go hiking or visit caves and castles.
La Bastide-de-Sérou is a village in the north of the Parc Naturel Régional des Pyrénées Ariégeoises, at the foot of the Pyrenees. The campsite is situated slightly below this village, on a sloping road (well passable}, which runs south from La Bastide-de-Sérou.Natural camping site The campsite is situated at the edge of a forest and has many shady pitches. Large hedges provide privacy. There are nine special pitches for campers. You can also camp in one of the 25 rental accommodations. In the middle of the campsite are the sanitary facilities, in a building made of stone.Family camping for nature loversFlower Camping L'Arize is a real family campsite. Especially in high season you'll see many young families with children. Also nature lovers are bound to like the campsite. In the mountainous surroundings you can enjoy walking and cycling. The shallow Arize meanders through the campsite and is a great play area for children.Underground riverThe underground river system ‘Rivière Souterraine de Labouiche’ is a fifteen minute drive from the campsite, near the town of Foix. The medieval castle Château de Foix is also worth a visit.
