On a shady spot on the banks of the river Adour, in the French department of Landes, is the campsite Les Ombrages de l'Adour. Choose your own pitch on the flat campsite, which is partly shaded by trees. The campsite is suitable for longer stays, but because of its location it is also frequently used as a transit campsite.

There is plenty of choice: on the banks of the river or closer to the entrance, in the shade of the trees or on a sunny spot. In total there are some ninety spacious, undefined touring pitches to divide up. You can also stay in a mobile home.GroceriesThe most necessary groceries are available at the campsite, as well as snacks, drinks and ice creams. Just a few minutes drive and you'll find yourself in front of a larger supermarket. There are also plenty of restaurants in Aire-sur-l'Adour.Clean sanitary facilitiesDo not expect hypermodern and brand new sanitary facilities when you visit the toilet on the campsite. The sanitary facilities are old, well maintained and cleaned several times a day.Water funIn a sunny spot at the entrance to the campsite you can take a dip in the swimming pool. This pool is not too big, but it is heated. Bigger water is within easy reach, as you can reach the Adour within a few steps. Especially fishing enthusiasts are attracted by the flowing water of this river. Kayakers also see their chance to explore the wooded banks in the water.
