Camping Arena Tašalera is a campsite in southern Istria, just above the seaside resort of Premantura, directly on the Adriatic Sea. Here you camp on slightly sloping terrain in the shade of a pine forest, or on a flat piece of land directly by the sea. With only the basic facilities, the peace and quiet of the campsite is maintained.
Unlike many of the ultramodern campsites on the Croatian coast, Arena Tašalera Campsite is a fairly simple campsite, without too much fuss. However, you can eat out in the grill restaurant 'Tašalera'. The camp shop has a small assortment for when you want to cook for yourself. The sanitary facilities are simple and fairly standard, but they are well-kept and clean.Natural viewSome places offer a view of the Adriatic Sea. In addition to the one hundred touring pitches, the campsite has more than two hundred permanent pitches. There are only five mobile homes on the campsite, so the Croatian nature is not interrupted by the view of holiday homes.SurroundingsNear the campsite there is a small jetty, which small pleasure boats and rowing boats gratefully use. This makes the part of the bay near the campsite a little less suitable for swimmers. They are better off diving into the water a few kilometres away. The old coastal town of Pula is less than half an hour from the campsite. After the invasion by the Romans a large city wall was built, but especially the amphitheatre just outside the centre appeals to the imagination.
