Peace, simplicity, space and a fantastic local cuisine. These are the ingredients that you find on Camping Agriturismo Il Giardino degli Ulivi ('Garden of the Olive Trees'). The campsite is situated in a very quiet location in the historical town of Lasize, some 30 km west of Verona. The terrain is one enormous lawn. The swimming pool is surrounded by flowering plants. A bit further along you will find lawns for touring pitches, with olive and fruit trees. The high residential building with six rental apartments and the kitchen is located near the entrance.
Camping or renting?There are spacious touring pitches, located between olive trees and fruit trees. The grass has not been mowed everywhere, so keep in mind there may be some higher, 'wild' grass. The mobile homes are basic, but well equipped. The are grouped together in a separate section. Finally, the large residence includes six rental apartments. They are clean, neat and simply furnished.Gone swimming!The swimming pool (70 m2) forms an attractive entity. There are a few palm trees, a tiled sun terrace and a fence around it. Beyond this, you will find an enormous sunbathing lawn with beautifully kept grass. Sun umbrellas and loungers await you there. Out with the suntan lotion and soak up the Italian sun which hardly ever lets you down.Excellent restaurantThe restaurant with covered terrace is at a somewhat higher elevation than the sunbathing lawn and the swimming pool. As a result you have splendid view over the surroundings, with Lake Garda further along. The chef/owner prepares excellent meals with local products and produce which he cultivates and sells himself.
