Woburn Golf and Country Park

Who ever said 'Great overnight stop if you want a bit of peace and quiet! must be deaf!! We parked up here on the afternoon of Friday 15th August, 2025, and thought what a lovely spot it was to get away from the heat of the day, and hopefully get an early night. Sadly, as with so many out of the way spots, it seems they attract all the nutters and idiots, who think it's a great laugh when they see a motorhome parked up for the night, to drive the lane like a race track, pull up beside you, and then rev their engines as loud as possible, before driving off leaving a shower of gravel behind them. Sorry folks, but don't expect a quiet night if you park here, although it is a nice spot for a walk in the woods during the daytime.
