About this stopover
Dead end road at the bottom of Mam Tor overlooking Castleton and the Hope valley. Lots of spaces for van's and you will normally be around other van's. Swb and men will be fine to park normally but lwb will have to go a slight angle to prevent blocking the road.
Lots of walkers during the day but nice and quite during the night

Excellent location to stop for a night (or two!). Beautiful views and very little hassle. Seems to be a popular destination for those in campervans, so feels secure at night with lots of people around. Worth a visit.
