Red Rock Canyon's standard, RV, and group campsites are located in the stunning Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, an approximate 20 mile drive from "The Las Vegas Strip." Visitors enjoy hiking, rock climbing, bike riding and scenic driving in this unique Mojave Desert environment.
Note: If visitors would like to visit the scenic drive, they must have a separate timed entry reservation for each day they plan to enter the scenic drive. Reservations are required October 1 to May 31, 8am -5pm.
The Red Rock Scenic Drive & Visitor Center is located 3 miles from the campground. If visitors would like to visit the scenic drive, they must have a separate timed entry reservation for each day they plan to enter the scenic drive. Reservations are required October 1 to May 31, 8am -5pm. Red Spring/Calico Basin is located 2 miles from the campground and is a no fee area and does not require a reservation.
Activities available are miles of hiking trails, rock climbing, horseback riding, mountain biking, and road biking. Guided hikes and educational programs available on certain days at the Visitor’s Center.
Our campground facilities are as follows:
Explore the peak tops, rolling sandstone ridges, steep walled canyons which highlight special wildlife, vegetation, and cultural history. The campground is in a quiet bowl near some of the most popular rock climbing destinations in the country, providing privacy with limited shade.

Changes or Modifying a Reservation
If your new stay dates are completely different from your original stay dates, there is a $10 change fee (per reserved site). There are no additional fees for:
Adding or removing nights (leaving early) to your stay.
Changing to a different campsite.
No Shows
Visitors have until check-out time on the day after the scheduled arrival date to check in without being considered a no-show customer. No-show customers will forfeit your recreation fees paid unless requested thru recreation.gov. Refunds requested thru recreation.gov for no shows will be charged a $20.00 no-show fee and first night's recreation use fee for the campsite
Cancellations
You can cancel the reservation any time the day before of your scheduled arrival date. You will receive a refund for your stay, minus the following fees:
$10 cancellation fee
Any reservation fees (only if paid when booking)
Any previous change fees
Late cancellation fees (if applicable) of your first night's recreation use fee
Canceling the day before your scheduled arrival date for individual or RV sites is considered a late cancellation.
Canceling within 14 days before your scheduled arrival date for group sites is considered a late cancellation.
Canceling the day of your scheduled arrival date or later is considered a no show. No-show visitors will be charged a $20.00 no-show fee, and first night's recreation use fee for the campsite.
*Any changes or cancellations made to your stay on your expected check-in day are not possible through My Reservations and on-site personnel may not be able to assist. Requests will need to be made thru recreation.gov and the field office has to approve.
