Overview

Dam Area Central is located near the intersection of Hwy 332 and the Toe Road. This beautiful shaded area is located just 5 miles from the city of Grenada.

Recreation

Recreation opportunities in the Dam Area Central Recreation Area include playgrounds, ball fields, basketball courts, tennis courts, and a mile long fitness trail.

Facilities

Pavilion 563 can accommodate up to 150 individuals.

Pavilion 502 can accommodate up to 50 individuals.  

Natural Features

Many different wildlife and plant species can be viewed in this area and are easy to spot as you walk along the Dam Area Central Fitness Trail.

Nearby attractions include the Overlook, Old Fort Cannon Area, Lost Bluff Hiking Trail, and The Dogwoods Golf Course at Hugh White State Park.
