Paradise near Poreč Valamar Camping Lanterna is beautifully located on a pebble and rocky beach close to the old town of Poreč in Istria. The camp site has beautiful sloping and wooded grounds right down to the sea.   Clean and safe beach The pebble beach is more than 3 km long and has been awarded the Blue Flag, meaning among other things that the swimming water is of excellent quality, the beach is kept clean and that sufficient toilets and litter bins are provided on the beach.   Fun during the day and in the evening For action in and on the fresh water, there are renovated play and water parks and an extensive aqua park, with a seawater-filled pool, numerous water sports facilities and its own jetty. Active people can have fun on the tennis court or in the gym, or join in aerobics, sports tournaments or all kinds of game activities in the recreation room. Children will never be bored at Valamar Camping Lanterna. They will meet friends in the swimming pool, at the skate park or during adventures with the kids' club. In the evening, the piazza is a lively place to be. Be amazed by one of the shows put on by the entertainment team. Not tired yet? You can dance until the early hours in the entertainment centre, with a disco located in the adjacent apartment complex.   Plenty of shops For your daily shopping, you can visit the campsite's supermarkets. There are several bakery stalls. There are also various shops in the piazza. Enjoy a delicious barbecue platter in one of the restaurants. Or have your hair cut or styled in the hair salon.   Discover Novigrad, Poreč and Rovinj Just ten kilometres from the campsite is the romantic old town of Novigrad. Poreč, with its cosy, narrow alleys and many monumental buildings, is 13 kilometres away. Besides visiting these gems, it is more than worth taking a drive along the entire coastline. Rovinj is 45 kilometres away and, with its enchanting streets and picturesque harbour, invites for a day trip to remember.
