There are plenty of sports opportunities, including beach volleyball, tennis and mini-golf, and activities are arranged throughout July and August, plus shows and a mini-club for children between three and twelve years of age. For a tasty meal, the campsite has a restaurant, plus there is a shop and butcher for daily supplies. The campsite has a fenced-in area where dogs can roam freely. Between countryside and culture Belvedere Pineta Camping Village is the perfect base for all types of day trips. The nature reserves and the lagoons in the vicinity offer landscapes where the countryside is still unspoilt. The UNESCO listed town of Aquileia is an important archaeological discovery site with beautiful art treasures. Grado is a lively resort with a charming historical centre that is closed to traffic. Trieste, with its beautiful Miramare Castle, the stunning architecture at Udine and Pordenone with its palaces, and Venice which is within easy reach by train are some of the other highlights in the area.
