With the free shuttle bus, you can have your feet in the sand within 10 minutes. In the nearby Esterel volcanic massif, you can hike and mountain bike to your heart's content. Douce Quiétude is an ideal base for exploring the Alpes Maritime, the Var and Provence, for trips to Cannes and Saint-Tropez, for example. Or drive along the magisterial coastal road or discover the Gorges du Verdon, the picturesque villages of Valensole, Riez, Aiguines, Bauduen and Castellane. The Var department on the Mediterranean has a typical southern French landscape and offers many sports, cultural and natural activities.
