About this stopover

Welcome to The Nags Head in Routh—a charming, family-friendly pub serving delicious pub classics and great kids’ food.

The pub was named in the 1820s, and has been trading for even longer: our first customers came in in the second half of the 18th century!

Located on Hornsea Road, we still have a warm welcome for guests from near and far. There’s a carvery all day on Saturday and Sunday with fluffy roast potatoes and homemade Yorkshire puddings.
