Overnight parking

Recognising the ever-increasing number of visitors arriving in campervans the museum can now offer a free of charge unsupported parking space for a limited number of campervans in the museum’s grounds (Thursday nights through Sunday nights and seven days a week during July & August). This offer is for a maximum of one night’s stay and is only available to visitors who are booked in to visit the museum on the day of arrival or the following day before 4 pm.

Before booking your museum admission tickets online please fill in then enquiery form or ring us on 01975 562292 to check availability and book in your campervan as spaces are limited and are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.

Once booked in campervans must arrive at the museum before 4 pm and report to museum reception on arrival. You will then be allowed to stay inside the secure museum grounds overnight free of charge. The museum currently has no camping facilities so campervans must be fully self-contained, but the grounds are quiet, secure and close to local shops and eateries.
