A lovely country pub with a very welcoming Landlord, bar staff & waitresses. The car park is quite spacious and ideal for an overnight stay as it is close to the A38. The three course meal was freshly cooked and very tasty. With a pint the total cost was very reasonable. I highly recommend this pub for an overnight stay but it is best to arrange ahead of arrival by telephoning first.
