Flower Camping Le Lac du Causse is located right on the banks of the Lac du Causse, a large lake in the Corrèze. You'll camp here on beautiful terraces overlooking the water and the hilly surroundings. Hikers, cyclists and water sports enthusiasts will enjoy this terraced campsite on the lake. The rugged, wooded shore is ideal for active campers who prefer to stay on dry land. Water sports enthusiasts can go to the water sports centre next to the campsite.
Camping with lake viewOver eighty large touring pitches have been laid out on the beautiful terraces which line the hillside on the lakeshore. The road to these terraces is easily passable. The many trees on the campsite block the view of the lake for some places, but you always look out over the surrounding hills. Most of the touring pitches, which often have a gravel surface, are shady. Many of the chalets and ecolodges also overlook the wooded landscape.Outdoor swimming pool and water sports centreFrom the campsite's outdoor swimming pool you can look out over the even larger natural pool just a few metres away; the lake. For a quick dip or a water game with the children, the swimming pool is a great place. By the way, if you fancy a french fry or a cool drink, take a seat on the pavement café next to the swimming pool. In high season this is also the scene of music and dance performances. There is a water sports centre right next to the campsite. Here you can go on the laker with a canoe, pedal boat and paddle board. Of course swimmers are also welcome to 'enter' the lake.
