Campsite Le Bois Vert

The tranquil green campsite Le Bois Vert, situated in a hilly region, can be found on the outskirts of the medieval town of Parthenay. The beautiful, spacious pitches (max. 130 m2) on this -wellmaintained campsite are located along paved roads and are separated from each other by hedges. You have a choice of pitches with or without shade.

A limited number of rental mobile homes and tents are spread out over the camping grounds (2 ha). This campsite is mainly frequented by French and British families.The Grosset family will extend you a warm welcome at the reception and will gladly give you information about the tourist sights in the area. From here, you can embark on some easy walking and cycling routes. Follow the ‘Voie verte’ or go for a beautiful walk in the Thouet Valley.Swimming fun and disco eveningsThe campsite has a heated swimming pool (100 m2) and toddler pool. There is a small selection of playground equipment for young children. There is also a pétanque pitch and a table tennis table on the campsite. Near the restaurant (limited menu), where you can also get takeaway meals, you will find a terrace with a view of the swimming pool. Themed dinners and disco evenings are organised on a regular basis. On the campsite, you can get a few basic foodstuffs and fresh bread.In the regionThere is a supermarket at one and a half kilometres' distance from Camping Le Bois Vert. Fishing is allowed in the nearby lake and in the river. On the other side of the river, you will find a generously proportioned playground. There is an aqua park in close proximity and you can also do some abseiling. There is also a tennis court, which camping guests are allowed to use.
