Camping Bled is situated directly at the lake of the same name in the Julian Alps. You camp here in the north of Slovenia. Bled is a tourist attraction because of its unique location by the lake. You have a view of a small island in the middle of the lake on which stands a picturesque small church.
Spectacular route and attractive viewThe last four km to the campsite lead over a scenic road, first through the village of Bled, thereafter along the lake. The campsite is located between two mountains in an elongated valley with lots of vegetation. The campsite slopes gently upwards with a few terraces. The higher you are, the more beautiful the view. Diversity of accommodationOn the campsite you can rent lodge tents (glamping), unique trekker huts and very modern mobile homes. The lodge-tents are found on the edge of the forest. The latter are particularly striking. They are located on a separate, very quiet section of the campsite. They have a wood-fired tub to bathe in. Swimming and other activitiesObviously, you will be swimming in Lake Bled. The lake looks splendid and from the bathing resort you have a spectacular view of the lake and the surrounding mountains. There is a sunbathing lawn with nice play equipment for children. You can go on great walking trips directly from the campsite. Furthermore, on the campsite you can play beach volleyball, basketball, soccer and badminton.Slovenian winesFeeling peckish? In addition to the usual tourist dishes, the camping restaurant menu also offers many regional specialities. These taste even better with a lovely Slovenian wine.
