Camping Rijsterbos is an ideal campsite for families with children. There is no need to get bored on this campsite, because there is always something to do for everyone. The entertainment team will take care of that! On and around the campsite there are all kinds of sports and play options such as mini golf, fishing, swimming and much more. In bad weather children can do crafts in the youth centre.
Wooded campsiteCamping Rijsterbos lies directly on the edge of the woods with the same name. The pitches are reasonably spacious and numbered, but not demarcated. Each pitch has its own water and electricity connection. A limited number of pitches have rental private sanitary facilities. The campsite has a small swimming pool on the boundary of the campsite.Restaurant with extensive choiceThe eatery of the campsite is a popular feature. It is located directly at the entrance and has a spacious terrace. Of course, you can sit inside to enjoy a snack, the daily menu or one of the pizzas. You can also order something from the menu, of course. During the day you can sit on the renovated terrace for a cup of coffee and cake or a refreshing drink.Unique woodlandRijs is located on the edge of the Rijsterbos and close to the IJsselmeer. The woodland, measuring a total of 72 ha, was planted in the seventeenth century and today consists of a diverse deciduous woodland with numerous old oaks and beeches. The woodland is a unique spot for birds, who use the Rijsterbos as resting place on their migration route. The badger is also a permanent resident and has a number of setts in the area.
