Camping Mas de Champel is situated in the valley of the river Eyrieux, a less touristic part of the Ardèche. The landscape here is mountainous: from the campsite you have a view of the surrounding mountains. The restaurant, located in an old farmhouse has a pavement cafe from which you have a panoramic view. Water fun is possible in the swimming pool or in the river.
Magnificent viewWell-paved paths take you across the campsite to the various terraces. Spacious pitches and rental tents are sheltered under the trees. From your pitch you have a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. The view from the mobile homes on the higher terraces is even more beautiful. The view of the river is obscured by high trees.Swimming in pool and riverNext to the reception building, on a lower part, is the heated camping pool. Even when the sun hasn't warmed up the water, you can have a nice swim here. Next to the swimming pool is a small paddling pool with some water play equipment. Around the pools there is plenty of space to sunbathe. You can also swim in the river. A path leads from the campsite to a small beach on the river. If you prefer to stay dry, take your fishing pole with you or discover the river in a canoe.Restaurant with panoramic viewPerhaps the most beautiful place on the campsite: the restaurant. This is located in an old farmhouse behind the reception building. From the pavement cafe you have that beautiful panoramic view over the campsite, the swimming pool and the mountains.
