Le Chaponnet is a four-star campsite on the French coast in the Vendée department. The campsite is located close to the beach at the heart of a small village. The surroundings offer plenty of activities including cycling and hiking, and the campsite itself offers plenty in terms of sport and relaxation. Le Chaponnet is at the centre of Brem-sur-Mer, a village just two kilometres from the sandy beaches of the Atlantic coast. You can drive there in your car or cycle, and in July and August there is a free shuttle bus from the campsite.
Wooden tentsOn the campsite, you have a choice of camping pitches or the option of holidaying in colourful mobile homes or wooden tepees. The tepees are ideal for passing cyclists looking for a stop-off on their trips across the country.Cyclists and bathersThe campsite is perfect for cyclists. Bikes can be hired from the campsite itself, and the surroundings are great for bike rides. The campsite is also great for beach lovers, water enthusiasts and those just looking for some relaxation.The campsite has both an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, the latter has two large slides and more are planned! You can also take a refreshing dip in the ocean, or sun yourself on the beach. You can have your feet in the sand in less than ten minutes!
