Campsite De Goldberg

Neatly laid out, well maintained campsite in a beautiful part of the Achterhoek. The reception is housed in a renovated traditional farmhouse with thatched roof.

Nice trekker huts and heated sanitary facilitiesThe grounds are well kept and look neat and uncluttered. The camping pitches are not demarcated and are located on camping fields surrounded by woods. With some bushes and shrubs here and there. The sanitary facilities are modern end even heated. There are several rental trekker huts on the campsite.Ghost hunting and making pancakesIn high season you will mainly find families here, while senior citizens frequent the campsite in low season. Making pancakes, ghost hunting and treasure hunts are some of the organised activities. There is no swimming pool on the campsite. However, at 1.4 km from the campsite you can enjoy a dive in the heated municipal swimming pool of Vorden. If you buy your swimming pool ticket from the camping reception, you will get a nice discount.Horses are welcomeHorses play a special role at this campsite. There are pony rides for children. You can hire stabling if you want to bring your own horse along. You can go on a lovely outing with a covered wagon ride or horse-drawn tram.Fresh bread daily from the bakeryThere is a small kiosk in the reception where you can buy basic necessities. There you can also buy fresh hot rolls each day. For a quick bite to eat you can go to the snack bar.
