In the south of Portugal (the Algarve), close to the coast, you will find campsite Albufeira. This is a friendly family campsite with many hibernators during low season. The terrain slopes slightly but has flat pitches. The atmosphere is convivial and hospitable and there is a nice balance between activities and peace and quiet. The campsite is attractively located amidst a hilly landscape with interesting villages.
A pleasant, green campsiteOn your way to the campsite you see a spacious field with beautiful swimming pools in the centre. You may choose one of the various (shaded and sunny) pitches. Albufeira is a campsite where you will soon feel at home. There is little demarcation between the pitches, but there are a large number of trees and plants. You camp on a hard, flat surface. In addition to camping pitches, there are rental mobile homes and bungalows.Swimming and sunbathingThe swimming pools are located in full sun. From here you have a splendid view of the area. There is a toddler pool and and there are sufficient loungers around the pools. You can order a snack or a drink from the nearby restaurant. The beach is a few km down the road.Regional products and sanitary facilitiesThe campsite has a good and affordable restaurant with a small and an extensive menu. There is a supermarket with a reasonably large selection and a choice of fresh food. You will also find good regional products here. There is a recreation hall for shows and parties. The sanitary facilities are spacious and clean and are divided over a number of blocks. There are special facilities for babies, children and disabled persons.
