This campsite is situated directly on the shore of Lake Trasimeno, north of Castiglione del Lago. The view from the campsite over the lake is truly beautiful. The numerous facilities, such as a private beach, sports fields, a pizzeria and a bar, guarantee a wonderful holiday at Badiaccia Camping Village, not to mention the wide beach and sunbathing lawn.
Large number of accommodation unitsThe camping pitches vary in size, are often shaded and are demarcated. The sanitary facilities are well maintained and neat. In addition, there are several types of accommodation units such as mobile homes (varying degrees of luxury) and chalets.Cycling around the lakeThe campsite offers the sporty camper a range of possibilities: tennis, volleyball, soccer, basket ball, pétanque and table tennis. There are cycle and walking trails alongside the lake. Adults can also participate in sport activities, such as aqua gym, aerobics, soccer and volleyball tournaments and archery.Younger camping guests are, of course, also taken into consideration; they can join the mini club and take part in sport tournaments and games. In the evenings the entertainment programme ranges from a masked ball to cabaret and disco evenings.Swimming in the swimming pool or the lakeCamping Badiaccia has two outdoor swimming pools. The largest swimming pool is surrounded by a large lawn. The smaller children's swimming pool is situated near the beach and the lake. At both swimming pools you can make free use of the showers, sun umbrellas and loungers. Obviously, the lake also offers options for various water sports, such as windsurfing and sailing. Kayaks and pedal boats can be rented from the campsite.
