Camping Belverdere is situated in Calceranica al Lago, on the southern shore of the attractive Lake Caldonazzo in the province of Trentino. Lake Caldonazzo, awarded with the Blue Flag, is renowned for its clear and pleasantly warm water in summer. The lake is a veritable El Dorado for swimmers and water sports enthusiasts. The surroundings of the lake are also excellent for cycling.
View of the lakeThe first impression of Belvedere is one of a friendly, small family campsite with – by Italian standards – spacious pitches with little demarcation. An added feature is the view of the lake from some of the pitches. There is a camping shop where you can also get fresh bread. Furthermore, there is a bar with terrace where you can enjoy a lovely hot cappuccino or a cold beer.Area with sports opportunities galoreThe campsite has its own private beach along the lake, ideal for swimming, surfing, canoeing and waterskiing. Part of the ciclabile della Valsugana cycle route runs past the western shore of Lake Caldonazzo. The route is mainly flat most of the way and therefore not a problem for less trained cyclists. The mountains and hills around the lake provide ample scope for walking and mountain biking trips.Sanitary facilitiesThe sanitary fittings in the central ablution block are kept spotless.Must seeThe beautiful town of Trento (from the campsite approx. 20 km down the SP1 and the SS47) is definitely worth a visit.
