On the south coast of Spain between the towns of Almeria and Motril in eastern Andalusia, you will find this newly constructed campsite. Camping Mar Azul Balerma offers its guests first class facilities on a level and open terrain. The fishing village of Balerma is only a short distance away and at approx. 10 km from the campsite you will find the attractive small town of Almerimar with a lively harbour packed with restaurants.
All possible flags of Europe welcome you from the through road, which runs parallel to the sea. The camping site is located a bit further off the road. The helpful Dutch owner has built a complete and relaxing camping site in a short period of time in a region which is very popular with hibernators. But also in summer months, this is a paradise. This is certainly the case for families, also due to the entertainment programme and the lovely swimming pool.Palm treesOn camping site Mar Azul Balerma you can find sunny pitches everywhere and the vegetation is still young. Most of the pitches are provided with shade cloths. Pitches are given an extra tropical touch with a palm tree on each pitch. The pitches with loose gravel are located along several streets which are well-illuminated. In the centre of the camping site are a number of colourful wooden bungalows in a row.Arabian atmosphere in the mountainsA short drive towards the north brings you to Granada where the Alhambra towers above the city. This impressive palace complex from the times of the Moors in on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
