Camping Vert Auxois is a quiet, small-scale campsite on the banks of the Canal de Bourgogne. The campsite is an excellent base for cycling tours along the canal or to discover the beautiful nature of Burgundy. You can camp on pitches overlooking the fields or in small, comfortable lodge tents.
At the Vert Auxois campsite, you'll be camping in a peaceful, green setting. On the edge of the elongated site, tall trees provide shade on some pitches. The more than sixty pitches are situated on grass fields separated by hedges.Comfortable lodge tentsIn principle, the pitches are spacious, but in busy times the owners sometimes want to create more pitches than usual. Because of this, your pitch can be a bit smaller than expected. The most beautiful pitches can be found at the southern edge of the site. This is also where the lodge tents are situated: small but comfortable tents with an unobstructed view over the vast fields. In addition to the lodge tents, there are a few mobile homes for rent.Heated swimming poolBehind the reception building is the new swimming pool, nicely heated and in the sun. The pool is quite straightforward and has a good size for the capacity of the campsite. In a separate area small children can paddleRestaurant Le P'tit TroquetLe P'tit Troquet is the campsite's restaurant, located in front of the campsite next to the reception building. Here you can have a bite to eat from a small menu, or have a drink on the cosy terrace. For the groceries you don't have to go far: about five minutes drive away is a large supermarket.
