Camping Château des Tilleuls is located in Port-le-Grand on the west coast of France, about fifteen kilometres from Channel coast and the bay of the Somme. This terraced campsite is situated on the vast estate of an old mansion. You camp in green surroundings, on spacious delimited pitches. Or in special rental accommodation, such as hiker's huts or a tree house.
Camping in the greenThe vast terrain of the campsite is increasing gradually. There is plenty of room for entertainment on the large lawns at the front. One level higher, in green surroundings, there are just over forty pitches. These spacious, marked out pitches are separated from the 180 permanent pitches.Coastal tidal flatsNext to the castle, partly shaded by tall trees, is the camping pool. This is not particularly large, but enough for hours of water fun. For the little ones there is a paddling pool. The coast is about fifteen kilometres from the campsite. Within a twenty minute drive you're at the Channel Coast, where the river Somme reaches open water. The estuary has a very wide beach, although you are not allowed to swim there. But just walking across the mud flats is maybe even better.Sporting funCamping Château des Tilleuls does not offer entertainment, nevertheless there is a lot of entertainment to be found. With a playground, multisports field and fitness room, sporty campers of all ages will find what they are looking for. The petting zoo and bouncy castle are especially fun for the children. The campsite's green surroundings are suitable for exploring by bicycle.
