In Bismo, the main town of the municipality of Skjåk in the Oppland province, lies the magnificent and idyllic Bispen Campsite. The camping is situated on the outskirts of the village, directly on the Otta river and is surrounded by an attractive nature area with numerous trees. From Bismo you have direct access to the impressive mountain world of Breheimen en Reinheimen, while the Jotunheimen en Rondane national parks are also not too far away.
Campsite with intimate character The campsite has spacious pitches along fields which are separated from each other by trees and bushes. This creates an intimate character on the campsite. In addition, the campsite has 10 hikers huts, two of which with shower and toilet and all with hot and cold running water.Very good facilitiesThe other facilities are all fine. You can buy basic foodstuffs at the reception. However, due to the proximity on the edge of the village, the nearest COOP-supermarket is not far away.ActivitiesThose who like to take things a bit easy can go for walks from the campsite in the immediate vicinity or in the surrounding mountains. Of course, the campsite also offers entertainment: mini golf, tennis and swimming/playing in the pond.
