Corones campsite is also perfect for those looking for relaxation, though. The peace and quiet in amongst the mountains relaxes everyone. The campsite is near Kronplatz Nature Fitness Park, the largest Nordic Walking Park in Europe: 275 km in well-signposted walking trails, right in the beautiful countryside of the Dolomites. The campsite organises excursions to the most beautiful spots in the area, for a lovely walk with panoramic views, or more active adventures: mountain biking, hiking and paragliding. In the winter, the South Tyrol is an ideal skiing area. Many winter sports enthusiasts head from the campsite towards the mountains. A free ski bus stops in front of the campsite. It will drop you off in the mountains.The crown of the KronplatzAt the top of the Kronplatz, the 2275 metre high mountain, that's about a 40 minute drive away, is the Corones Messner Mountain Museum. This spectacular building looks as if it was carved from the mountain.
