Not far from Vänersborg on the banks of the Vänern, you'll find Ursands Resort & Camping. The campground has a lovely sandy beach along the largest lake in the country. The campsites are located among the trees: ideal for the warm summer days that are not unusual here. You can take walks and cycling tours right from the campground in the varied landscape of Västergötland.
Impressive greeneryThe greenery on Ursands Resort & Camping makes a great first impression: wherever you look you'll see trees around the campsites. There are special paved campsites and along the beach there are spaces for tents. The rental holiday homes and mobile homes are spread around the site. From simple and small to large and luxurious.children's paradiseUrsands Resort & Camping is ideal for families. Children can play safely and swim in the new swimming pool with various slides. There are numerous activities for the young camper, primarily in the high seasons, and there is a special playground with supervision and pedal car rental.Shop and restaurantEven though the campground is not far from Vänersborg, it is easy to do your shopping in the shop on site for daily groceries. The restaurant is in a lovely location and offers an amazing view of the lake. In the high season (15/6 - 31/8) we recommend the dish of the day (dagens rätt).SurroundingsVänersborg and Trollhättan are charming towns where there is great shopping. They are both on the Göta älv, that connects the Vänern to the North Sea (Kattegat).
