Ragnerudssjöns Camping & Stugby

Amidst the typical Swedish landscape of Dalsland, on a lake which is surrounded by forests on all sides, you will find Ragnerudssjöns Camping & Stugby. The campsite with more than one hundred pitches is located at the foot of the vast Kroppefjäll nature reserve. In addition, the campsite also has fourteen holiday cottages (stugor) suitable for four to eight persons. You feel one with the breathtaking Swedish nature here.

Nature loversWith its location on the lake, between forests and at the edge of the Kroppefjäll nature reserve, the campsite attracts mainly nature lovers who can indulge in long walking and cycling trips in this area. At the reception you will be given all information you need (maps, tips, routes). If you wish, you can join a guided tour.Family campsiteRagnerudssjöns is a real family campsite where you can hire boats for fishing on the lake. A great activity for adults, while the children are being entertained (in peak season only). You can also swim in the lake, which has a sandy beach and lawn.Restaurant and snack barRestaurant Ragnerud Kök offers a small menu, but also take-away meals. There is also a snack bar where you can order a quick bite to eat. Food is almost exclusively prepared with ecologically and locally produced ingredients.Elk spottingThe forests of Dalsland are teeming with eland, but it takes some doing to spot them. You stand the best chance of seeing them at dusk and dawn along one of the narrow forest pathways.
