Campsite Joan

Approximately 100 km south of Barcelona you will find the quiet, child-friendly family campsite Joan Cat.2, close to the historic former fishing village of Cambrils. The campsite is located right at one of the most beautiful sandy beaches of the Costa Dorada. This spot is ideal for campers who like to enjoy Spanish beaches in peace.

Tall pine treesThe grounds look well kept with pitches of varying size. There are numerous mulberry trees offering ample shade, but you can also opt for a pitch in the sun. Note to owners of campers: quite a few pitches have low hanging branches. Want to hire something? There is a vast range of different mobile homes, studios, apartments and bungalows.

Water aerobicsThe cosy, round swimming pool is especially suitable for children to cool off. It is also ideal for water aerobics, swimming a few lengths is more difficult, unfortunately. You will find nice wooden decking around the swimming pool and there are ample sun loungers with the odd sun umbrella here and there.

The sea close to the camping site is suitable for children: the vast beach slopes gently into the sea. Breakwaters provide calm water. Cycle-friendlyThere is a playground for children and lots of entertainment for all ages. You can also use the fitness room and there is a choice of massages. Walking and cycling enthusiasts will be very happy with the number of trails in the area.
