In the valley of the Lot, directly on the banks of the river and near the medieval Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, you will find Camping Restaurant de la Plage. Here you can camp on a touring pitch between the trees and at the water's edge. Via a small gate you reach the beach and the river. The campsite is a real family campsite with lots of entertainment: from volleyball tournaments to movie nights.
Camping in the greenBecause of the many greenery and full trees, the campsite looks a bit like a park. Between the trees are about a hundred touring pitches. Your pitch is nicely sheltered between hedges and shrubs. Some overlook the river or the rocky plateaus that surround the Lot valley. In addition to touring pitches, you'll also find some rental accommodation on the campsite. These safari tents and bungalows are not particularly new anymore, but are well maintained.Swimming in the riverThe location of the campsite is his business card. From the campsite you walk through a gate to the beach on the Lot. All children are equally safe: in front of the gate you need a code, while the beach is guarded. You can take a nice dive in the river, but you can also go up the river by canoe or pedal boat. By the way, you have to share the beach with day trippers from the neighborhood.Restaurant with regional productsAt the front of the campsite is the restaurant. Not for nothing this is called in the camping name: it may be small, but the food is delicious. The menu is quite extensive: you can go there for a three-course dinner, but also for a tasty homemade pizza.
