Camping La Garenne is located amidst the beautiful nature of the département of Ardèche, in the valley of the Eyrieux River. Managed by Dutch people, this medium-sized family campsite is perfect for young and old alike. There are lovely villages and towns dotted around the area that are great for cultural visits, recreational activities for all ages in the high season and of course the stunning nature. The campsite is short walk from the forest. And there are various rivers in the nearby for canoeing adventures.
PitchesThe camping grounds are made up of an upper terrace and a lower terrace, which differ around 25 metres in height. Most of the pitches are located on level ground and a number on terraces. The ground at La Garenne is hard and rocky, so the use of pens is required. These are available at reception. The upper terrace has quiet pitches close to a path that leads into the forest or village. Trees, bushes or low walls built from river clay, in typical Ardèche style, create a sense of privacy between the pitches. There are a few XL pitches, most of which are located on the upper terrace. The pitches are interspersed with rental accommodation: mobile homes, lodge tents and safari tents.For young and oldThere is a recreation programme for all ages in the high season. The little ones can enjoy themselves at the 'mini club' twice a week. The campsite also has a playground and a paddling pool. Older children and adults can take a refreshing dip in the L-shaped pool.
