Camping Municipal les Feuilles is a low lying and quiet municipal campground on a babbling brook. The campground is within walking distance of the charming village of Chauffailles in the South Burgundy wine region.
For campers with a caravan and campers, there are sites with a paved section, but also sites on the grass. The well maintained campsites vary in size and are separated by hedges. There are trekker huts and mobile homes for hire. The sanitary facility is simple and clean. You can pick up fresh bread in the morning.Swimming poolThe heated swimming pool with kiddie pool is situated about 100 metres from the back entrance of the campground. Small children will love the playground with a few pieces of equipment and a round of mini golf. You can play table tennis, use the jeu-de-boules pitch, play tennis and even play sports on the sports field.Charming villageIn Chauffailles you'll find a supermarket, a market (Friday mornings) with artisinal regional products and a restaurant. The 15th century castle is near the campground, where there are art exhibitions in the summer. In the weaving museum you can relive part of the history of Chauffailes's traditions. Green hills You can explore the hilly and green landscape in an active way from the campground. You can take a hike and follow the marked route, or have a guided tour in the high season. The campground lies on cycling routes, but note that most of them are challenging.
