Kompas Camping Westende
Campsite

Not far from Nieuwpoort, on the Belgian North Sea coast, you will find Kompas Camping Westende. The campsite is not located directly on the beach, but this can easily be reached on foot. Just be careful when crossing the N34 and the coastal tramway. Camping Westende is a large, well maintained family campsite with spacious pitches and a wide selection of rental accommodation.
Family campsite The pitches on Kompas Camping Westende are spacious and it is evident that in high season mainly Belgian and Dutch families with children visit this campsite. Special prices apply to these families and special family sanitary facilities are also available. There is a lovely water playground for children and numerous activities are organised. Trekker huts and 'honeycombs' On the campsite there is a variety of rental accommodation, such as trekker and camping huts for up to four persons, complete with private cooking facilities and a fridge. Each hut has a terrace and its own camping table.The Camping Bee's are unique: huts for two persons in the shape of a honeycomb. Families can rent two of these sleeping units together with a living unit. These are called Camping Bee Family.Fresh fish and Belgian beersThe campsite restaurant, Taverne de Piete, has a new menu with an extensive range of snacks, salads, pasta, fresh fish dishes and desserts. You can go there for lunch and dinner, but also for a typical Belgian pint. Belgian 'frietjes' (chips) and other snacks are available from the chip shop on the campsite.
