First Camp Ekerum Camping is a large camping site located directly on a sandy beach. The camping site lies centrally in the Swedish Island of Öland, close to Borgholm. Easily passable roads will take you to the camping site. The grounds are large and everything is spaciously laid out. The first thing you will notice is the wooden mill on the camping grounds. The reception looks neat and is very functional. There is a small camping site shop and a restaurant-café.

Camping in ÖlandLarge numbers of trees provide ample shade on the spacious camping pitches. The camping fields are differently laid out, each with their own character. You can opt for a standard pitch or for a pitch with some additional facilities such as electricity, water connection plus drainage and cable television. There is also a field for tent campers with a seating arrangement at each pitch. Red-coloured accommodationThere are several rental accommodation units available on the camping site. These are mostly in the traditional red colour many people associate with Scandinavia. There are cottages in several sizes, from a small two- person cottage to ten-bed accommodation. Swimming pool and beachEkerum Camping has a beautiful, large swimming pool with slides for children and some play equipment. This can be found near the main building. The beach can be accessed directly from the camping site. Ideal for sunbathing or walking.On your way with a SegwayWater aerobics is a daily activity on Ekerum Camping. In addition, there is a small pedal car track for children. Other facilities in the form of a bouncer and a large playground are also available. You can also play mini golf on the camping site or rent a skelter or a Segway.
