Camp on a well maintained family campsite in the midst of green and a hilly area, near a medieval town (Vianden). There is plenty of history retained here. Camping Holiday Park Walsdorf is a place where you can enjoy nature, on the campsite and in the surrounding area. The campsite is a part of Beter Uit, a Christian travel organisation.
Camp as a group or familyThere are nicely maintained spacious pitches, on the lower terraces separated by hedges as tall as a person. All the way at the top on the outer side of the camping site there is the accommodation. There are also spaciously delineated fields where you can set up camp as a family or group. Right across from the camping site there is a stream where the kids can splash.Closed sundayThis Luxembourg camping site is regularly visited by Christian Dutch people, both families with children and older people. The Christian character of the camping site is noticeable in many places. Sunday is a day of rest and throughout the week there are meeting times with a Christian background (closing of the day, activities with Bible themes and a sing along). Everyone is free to participate or not.Activities galoreThe camping site has no swimming pool, but many camping site guests go to the swimming pool comple with fast slides in Vianden. There are sporty and creative activities for campers of all ages for fun.Sociable barNext to the reception there is a simple restaurant with a small menu where you can eat or take away simple dishes. There is a nice little bar and a little supermarket with fresh bread and meat.
