Camping Paklenica with an adjacent pebble beach is situated directly on an inlet of the Adriatic Sea, some 40 km from the historical harbour town of Zadar. The campsite forms an ideal basis to explore the mountainous Paklenica National Park and to add a sporty touch to your camping holiday in Croatia.

The most beautiful spots are found at the water's edge. You will find no shade here, but there is a beautiful view of the sea.Attractive pebble beachThe lovely pebble beach off the camping site is a great place for an afternoon of sunbathing and swimmig. You can also head out to sea by canoe or rowing boat from here. The beach is also popular with day visitors and local residents of Starigrad; it can get quite busy here at times. Fortunately, there are more spots by the water where you can relax and indulge in several water sports. You can also go for a swim in the camping site swimming pool.Visiting ZadarCamping Paklenica is located in a less-visited region of Croatia. Yet, there are several attractive towns in the area which you can visit. Zadar, for instance (a 45-minute drive away). In this harbour town you will find the Saint Donatus Church and the Roman Forum. Zadar is also well-known for its beautiful sunsets.Spoilt for choiceThe restaurant on the camping site has a good menu with fair pricing, but there is a much wider range in Starigrad and the immediate vicinity.
