Camping Village Il Poggetto is located twenty kilometres east of Florence, in the middle of the hills of Tuscany. This terraced campsite is very suitable for a stopover when you are passing through, but it is also a nice place for a longer stay. From the swimming pool and the restaurant you have a beautiful view of the hilly surroundings.
Terraced campsiteThe location of the campsite, so close to the motorway, can be advantageous for campers in transit. The disadvantage, however, is that the traffic on part of the campsite can be heard reasonably well. The pitches are situated on well-tended, wide terraces. At each pitch there is a little tree for some shade. The regular pitches are about 80 m2, but you can also choose extra large pitches. There are also several rental accommodations.Swimming with hillside view On the north side of the campsite you will find the swimming pool, which is beautifully situated on a higher platform. Here you have an unobstructed view of the surrounding hills. The pool is spacious. For the little ones there is a paddling pool right next to the large pool.Horseback ridingThe campsite has an entertainment program for children in high season, but this is not very extensive. that's not a problem, because for the smaller campers there is plenty to do to enjoy themselves. Of course, the swimming pool is always a good start, but there is also a ranch near the campsite, from where you can explore the Tuscan landscape on horseback.
