Sandaya Parc la Clusure campsite is located in the Belgian Ardennes. You can camp here on a spacious pitch, or in rental accommodation. Due to its location on a river, there's always the opportunity to cool down on a hot summer's day. As well as plenty of outdoor activities in the beautiful location, there's lots to do at the campsite itself, for children as well as adults.
A steep narrow road brings you to the campsite entrance; for some campers who are towing a caravan, this can be a challenge. Flags from different European countries fly at the reception, welcoming all holidaymakers. The well-kept greenery, flowers, and the natural surroundings characterise this campsite.Building dams and raftsThe many rivers and extensive forests in the area ensure you keep cool during the warm summers. A calm river in the Ardennes is also an ideal playground (for older children). it's a great place to get together with new friends and build dams and rafts. Or, take part in the campsite-organised activity "Having fun in the river" - a guaranteed afternoon of fun in the water with just inflatable armbands or a pool float. Bring aqua shoes with you, as there are sometimes slippery stones on the riverbed.Meter-high stalactitesOne thing you should definitely do if you're staying at the Sandaya Parc la Clusure campsite, is to visit the Grotten van Han (Han Caves) in Han-sur-Lesse. This world-famous landmark is less than 10km from the campsite.
