Only 4 km away from Arrigny you'll find the terraced campground De La Forêt. The campground stretches over a large slightly sloping property (4 hectares) and is located near the Lac du Der and the forested Presqu'ile de Larzicourt.
The campsites are located in the forest and vary in size because they are set out among the trees. The gravel paths lead you to the loping, nicely fenced off sites with usually hard ground. You will find the mobile homes for rental on a separate part of the campground.Active around the lakeThere is a large sunny terrace with lounges at the heated swimming pool and kiddie pool. For children, there is a large playground on the campground, a table tennis table, a jeu de boules pitch and you can geocache. There is a larger playground at the lake. The campground is located on a cycling route 42 km around the Lac du Der.Eating pizza at the swimming poolYou can order fresh bread to be delivered to the campground. The nearest supermarket is in Vitry-le-François or St. Dizier. The bar/restaurant has a terrace with a view of the pool. Here you can order from the small menu, such as pizza and snacks.Lac du Der100 metres away from the campground is a popular sandy beach on one of the largest man-made lakes in Western Europe. The water flows slowly, which is ideal for small children. Lac du Der is a paradise for ornithologists, and you can observe the cranes here. Water sports enthusiasts love it here too, courses are given in windsurfing and sailing.
