Campsite Kirchzarten is next to the village of Kirchzarten, to the south of the Black Forest. Although you camp close to the village, you feel like you are in the middle of the mountainous Dreisamtal countryside. The campsite is situated near the lovely city of Freiburg and the Europa-Park theme park and resort (Germany’s largest theme park) is close by.
You can reach the campsite easily via the A7. You can make your camping holiday as comfortable as you wish. There are lovely pitches on the grass for your own tent or caravan, but there are also various holiday homes and mobile homes for rent.Free swimming and public transportNext to the campsite there is a wonderful swimming pool complex. Admission to this pool is included in the overnight rate in the high season. Also included in the price is a KNOUS card for public transport. The train station is a ten-minute walk from the campsite and in 15 minutes you can be standing in the historical centre of Freiburg. If you want to plan a day trip for the next day, then you can use the free Wi-Fi connection at the campsite.Day trips for young and oldThere is plenty for children to do at the campsite. They can design their own t-shirt in the T-Shirt Factory and there are special ‘Dinners for Kids’ where children can sit down at a table together with their camping buddies. The Volante automobile museum is at walking distance. This museum houses a unique collection of historic French cars by Vanvooren. If you prefer cycling or walking then the Black Forest is a perfect location for a hiking or cycling tour.
